The Old Workshop and Oak tree Barn both have large open plan kitchen-diners with double height lounges and beautiful galleried bedrooms with exposed beams. Croft Cottage and The Hideaway are the latest additions with pretty gardens, stunning views and beautiful character features.

All of our properties have beautifully designed interiors and include a fully equipped kitchen, TV/DVD, stereo/mp3, free WIFI, Egyptian cotton bedding, luxury bathrooms with fluffy white towels and garden areas to enjoy a glass of complimentary wine.

(Sorry but we are unable to accept pets or children unless babies due to our insurance policies).

You can admire the 360 degree views from our very own medieval castle site Castle Hill which was featured in the Time Team 2011 episode time team ‘How to lose a Castle.’ The dig was a huge success and revealed the footing for the tower which would have stood up to eighty feet tall. Among the finds were pots, tools and trinkets from everyday life in the 1200’s. The surrounding landscape is stunningly beautiful and would not have changed much since the days when the castle dominated the area.

“My girlfriend and I spent our 4 year anniversary here and it was a lovely cottage. Like a home from home would definitely recommend to anyone.” Callum (june18)

“Just travelling home from a short new year break in ‘Croft Cottage’. We had the most wonderful stay- the cottage was homely and had everything we needed. On arrival we had tea and biscuits and for the evening we had wine in front of the log fire. Taking our wellies, we were able to enjoy walks in the local countryside and one morning visited Lyme Regis, a short drive away for a delicious lunch. The cottage was the perfect break from the busy nature of home. I would highly recommended anyone to stay here – the cottages are completed to a high standard and are simply perfect. We also stayed in ‘Oak Tree Barn’ two years ago and that was equally as blissful and relaxing. We will return again!” – Karen (mar 18)

“The surrounding countryside was so picturesque and peaceful, with amazing views. Lovely walks can be taken around the nearby friendly villages and farms. The cottage itself was very cozy and relaxing with a beautifully designed natural interior. It truly felt like a home away from home for us.
The sauna in the nature was very unique.
We highly recommend Oak Tree Barn!”

“My partner and I booked this cottage to have a relaxed break from a very busy work lifestyle but didn’t want to have to travel to far from home. I have to say its the best short break I have ever had, the cottage and location were perfect, was well equipped with everything you could need and it provided the perfect place to relax with the opportunity to venture to many nearby places. we will certainly be planning to book here again and are already recommending to friends and family.”  (Michelle – 03/10/16)
